Example Itinerary
Wednesday – Arrival & Welcome
Arrival from 16:00.
Settle into your peaceful mountain surroundings and take in the views as you arrive at our private Welsh cottage. You’re free to explore the grounds, head out for a gentle countryside walk, enjoy the fresh air or unwind inside and start connecting with the other Boos.
This is your time to properly switch off, build bonds and ease into the adventure ahead.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a beautiful welcome dinner prepared by our private chef. A relaxed evening to refuel, share stories, run through plans for the climb and build excitement for the summit challenge ahead. Expect cosy energy, clear skies and that “we’re really doing this” feeling.
Thursday – Summit Day
One summit. One team. One unforgettable achievement.
Wake up in peaceful Welsh surroundings, mountain air drifting through the windows as summit day begins. Our private chef will prepare a nourishing breakfast to fuel you for the challenge ahead. Enjoy your coffee outside on the terrace or take a quiet stroll before we set off.
After breakfast, we’ll collect our packed lunches and meet our transfer for the short journey to the start point.
We’ll be climbing via the Llanberis Path, often described as the most beginner-friendly route up Snowdon. While it offers a steady and manageable incline, it is still a rewarding challenge and a real achievement. The route is approximately 9 miles return and typically takes 6–8 hours, depending on pace and conditions.
A moderate level of fitness is recommended, and you should feel comfortable walking for several hours on uphill terrain at a steady pace. In the lead-up, we suggest building stamina with regular walks, incline training or stair sessions. Proper hiking boots with ankle support are essential, along with layered activewear, a waterproof jacket, a small backpack, water and snacks. A full kit list will be shared in advance.
Our experienced leader will guide and support us throughout, ensuring a safe, empowering and unforgettable climb from start to summit. Reaching the top together is the moment. Big views, tired legs and proud smiles as you stand at the highest point in Wales.
Thursday Evening – Celebration
As we return to our retreat, the evening is all about celebration and proper unwinding.
Our private chef will prepare a generous feast cooked over a live fire, bringing that authentic outdoor mountain atmosphere. We’ll gather around the firepits to share stories, relive summit highlights and enjoy the warmth of the flames under clear, starry skies.
A relaxed, joyful evening marking an epic day.
Friday – Slow Morning & Departure
Wake up with that post-summit glow and enjoy your final morning in our Welsh cottage. Breakfast will be prepared fresh for you, giving you time to fully relax before heading home.
Take a gentle walk, wander the grounds, breathe in the mountain air or, if you’re feeling brave, head for a refreshing river dip to properly awaken the senses. Whether it’s quiet reflection with a coffee, a countryside stroll or one last cold-water moment, this is your time to soak it all in.
Check-out is approximately 11:00am, giving you time to savour the last moments together before departing at your leisure.
